About 37

37 is a free daily maths puzzle: seven dice, one equation, one target. It is made by HiiPointe Games and runs in any browser as well as on iOS and Android.

What the game is

Every day, every player in the world gets the same seven dice and the same job: build one equation that equals exactly 37, using all seven. It takes a minute to learn and a long time to master, which is the whole idea.

There are three difficulty tiers — Easy (seven white dice), Challenge (the coloured power dice) and Expert (the same board, but only a Perfect solve counts). Each tier has two rounds: an untimed practice round with unlimited rolls, and its own timed Daily, with its own puzzle, its own leaderboard and its own streak. Six ways to play in total; the modes page lays them out.

What this site publishes

Alongside the game itself we publish original guides on solving it and on the arithmetic underneath: strategy, order of operations, exponent technique, mental-arithmetic drills, and worked solutions to real boards.

The guides are written for players rather than for search engines. They assume you can already add and multiply, and they concentrate on the things that actually decide whether you solve a board: which anchor to pick, how to spend dice you do not need, and why an equation that looks right sometimes evaluates to something else.

Every equation we publish is generated or checked by the game engine itself and re-verified automatically each time the site is built, so a worked solution on this site cannot quietly stop being correct.
